Care of the Hair
Types of Hair
- Soft Hair: This type is usually smooth, shiny, and easy to manage. It can be straight or wavy.
- Coarse Hair: Coarse hair is thicker, often more textured, and can be curly. It may require different care compared to soft hair.
Functions of Hair
- Provides protection for the scalp from the sun and cold.
- Acts as a sensory organ, helping us feel touch and temperature.
- Enhances our appearance and self-esteem.
Hair Care Materials and Tools
- Materials: Shampoo, conditioner, hair oil, hair gel.
- Tools: Hairbrushes, combs, hair clips, and scissors.
