Introduction
Jesus is depicted in the Bible as a man of prayer who often took time to pray to God. Jesus is known as a man of prayer, often taking time to pray to God. He prayed for various reasons, including seeking guidance, giving thanks, and interceding for others. Examples of Jesus praying include His prayers in the Garden of Gethsemane, before feeding the 5,000, and on the cross. Jesus prayed to maintain a close relationship with God, to teach His disciples the importance of prayer, and to seek strength during difficult times.

Reasons Why Jesus Prayed
Jesus prayed for several reasons:
- To talk to God about what was happening in His life.
- To ask God for help when He needed it.
- To say thank you to God for all the good things.
- To feel better when He was sad or worried.
- To teach us how to pray and talk to God.
- To ask God to help and take care of other people.
Lesson Presentation (Step-by-Step Procedure)
Step 1: Introduction
Engage pupils with a story about Jesus praying in the Garden of Gethsemane. Ask if they know why Jesus prayed and if they have ever prayed for something important.
