Entry Behaviour

Pupils should already know basic means of transportation and have some familiarity with everyday objects that move from one place to another, such as bicycles and cars.

Definition of Vehicle

A vehicle is any machine that transports people or goods from one place to another. Vehicles can be powered by humans, animals, or engines. 

Examples of Vehicle

Land Vehicles

1. Bicycle – A human-powered vehicle with two wheels.
2. Car – A four-wheeled motor vehicle used for transporting passengers.
3. Bus – A large motor vehicle designed to carry multiple passengers.
4. Motorcycle – A two-wheeled motor vehicle.
5. Truck – A motor vehicle designed primarily for transporting cargo.
6. Van – A road vehicle used for transporting goods or people.

Water Vehicles

1. Boat – A small vessel used for traveling on water.
2. Ship – A large watercraft designed for transporting goods or people across oceans.
3. Canoe – A lightweight narrow vessel propelled by paddles.
4. Yacht – A medium-sized sailing or motor-powered vessel, often used for leisure.
