Objectives
At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

- Describe the functions of markets in the community, including the provision of goods and services and economic exchange.
- Express appreciation for how schools and markets contribute to their daily lives through a drawing or a short sentence.

Pupils should already know what a community is and can identify basic places within their community, such as their school and local market.
