Definition of Art and Culture
Art:
Art is a way people show their feelings, ideas, and creativity. It can be seen in many forms, like paintings, drawings, music, and performances. When someone creates something beautiful or expresses a thought, that is art!
Culture:
Culture is the way a group of people live and what they believe. It includes their traditions, food, music, and how they celebrate special days. Culture helps us understand who we are and where we come from.
Branches of Art
- Drama:
Drama is when people act out stories. They can pretend to be different characters and show emotions. Think of a play you might see at school! - Painting:
Painting is when we use colors on a surface, like paper or canvas, to create pictures. We can use brushes or our fingers to make beautiful art. - Drawing:
Drawing is making pictures using pencils, crayons, or markers. It’s a way to show what we see or imagine. - Music:
Music is sounds we make or listen to that can be happy, sad, or exciting. It can come from instruments or our voices when we sing.
