Definition of Locomotor Movements:
Locomotor movements are movements that help us move from one place to another. These include walking, running, skipping, hopping, jumping, and sliding.
Types of Locomotor Movements:
- Walking: This is the slowest locomotor movement, where one foot stays in contact with the ground at all times.
- Running: A faster movement where both feet leave the ground at the same time for a brief moment.
- Skipping: A fun movement that involves a step followed by a hop on the same foot.
