Instructional Objectives

- Define rules and regulations in simple terms.
- Identify at least three examples of dos and don’ts in social behavior.
- Participate in an activity that demonstrates following rules and regulations.
Entry Behaviour
Pupils should already know basic classroom rules, such as sitting quietly, raising their hands before speaking, and taking turns.

Meaning of Rules and Regulations
- Rules are instructions that tell us what we should or should not do to keep things organized.
- Regulations are official rules that guide us in places like school or society.
Examples of Dos and Don’ts
Dos
- Do say “Please” and “Thank you” – It shows good manners when asking for something or after receiving something.
- Do share with others – Sharing toys or materials with friends makes everyone happy.
- Do wait your turn – Whether it’s for a game or in line, waiting patiently helps everyone get a fair chance.
- Do listen when others are speaking – This shows respect and helps you understand what they are saying.
- Do follow classroom rules – Like raising your hand before talking or sitting quietly during lessons.
Don’ts
- Don’t hit or push others – We should use kind hands and keep everyone safe.
- Don’t shout or scream indoors – Use your indoor voice to avoid disturbing others.
- Don’t take things that aren’t yours – Always ask before borrowing something.
- Don’t interrupt when someone else is talking – Wait until they finish speaking before you talk.
- Don’t make fun of others – Everyone deserves to feel happy and respected
