Instructional Objectives
At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

1. Identify living things found in their school and home environments.
2. Describe basic characteristics of living things (e.g., they grow, need food).
3. Compare living and non-living things in their surroundings.

Entry Behaviour
Pupils should be able to recognize animals and plants and have some understanding of what makes something living or non-living.

Instructional Materials

1. Pictures of living things in schools (e.g., plants, animals).
2. Flashcards showing different living things at home (e.g., pets, plants).
3. A simple chart for classifying living and non-living things.
