Content
Uses of Land:
- Cultivation of Crops:
- Land is used to grow different types of crops, such as rice, maize, beans, and vegetables. Farmers prepare the land by plowing and planting seeds. The right type of soil and care helps the plants grow.
- Grazing:
- Land is also important for grazing animals like cows, sheep, and goats. Grazing land provides food for these animals. Farmers manage grazing land to ensure that animals have enough grass to eat.
- Road Construction:
- Roads are built on land to connect different places. Roads help people travel to schools, markets, and other places easily. They also allow farmers to transport their goods to markets.
